At Last You Can Finally Learn the
Amazing Truth about the Vietnam War!

The new Breakthrough Vietnam War Story that will help you discover everything you’ve ever wanted to know about the Vietnam War.

This Insider tells You his Vietnam War Story, Discover the secrets that you never knew about the Vietnam Experience and how many Veterans survived

Was it really the drugs that the CIA wanted to use to fund their various misadventures? Was this what put our country in the middle of a Vietnam civil war or was it the Domino Theory in Vietnam?

Here is a story of a young guy, from Detroit, MI., that just wanted to survive after being drafted in the Army.

He became a warrior, a person that spent the vast majority of his time trying to keep from getting killed. Then one day he was a Vietnam Veteran and back home among friends(?).

Tom's story is one of many that have not been told over the years. What makes his so different? The following things;

He survives in Vietnam while fighting in the north.

Second, he spent an extraordinary amount of time in combat.

Third, he is the recipient of the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart & Combat Infantry Badge.

Fourth, his Captain received the Congressional Medal of Honor for the May 12-14 battle.

What you will learn from this book will stay with you forever. There are huge instances of bravery by very ordinary and extraordinary soldiers who were only trying to survive and return to their homes.

It's a fast read. Once you have it loaded on your computer, you won't get back on the Internet until you have finished reading the book. It is That GOOD!!

I have provided an excerpt from the book to give you a feel of how the book reads and tantalizes you with the experiences of the author of the book.

This is a must read. Many historians and Americans are proud of our fighting men and what they had to endure. This was a point in time that was not easy for most people.

It's wonderful that today's troops are not being treated like they were during the Vietnam conflict. Whether you believe in the politics or not, our current soldiers, just like those in the Vietnam war, are just doing as they have been trained to do.

What’s Next?

The following is an excerpt from the book dated May12th, 1969. It is one of the many instances in which Tom is in a combat situation. He narrates in a way that is startling and yet great reading.

The narration is very much in the first person and he pulls us right into his thinking process and we get caught up in his brain looking through his eyes.

12 MAY

Dawn was starting to break when the point element (Captain Dunagan, then Brian with me right behind) broke into the valley of death. We were now twelve clicks from LZ Professional. We walked out of the river mouth and into a field. The Captain stopped and then walked around the clearing, skirting the bushes to stay out of the open. Brian followed him.

I took the cue and went in the opposite direction. The rest of the company split up and followed both of us, two ranks skirting opposite sides of the clearing. When we got to the end of the clearing the Captain motioned for everyone to get down and out of sight. He intently scanned the valley that lay in front of us. As he did I heard some choppers coming. I turned to their frequency and I immediately heard chatter between them:

"Ya, there are boo-coo NVA down there. See them on the right side over there, Red Knight?"

"Roger 69, and they are headed for the hill. I've never seen anything like it before, over. They just look up at us and wave."

"Red Knight, let's RTB and regroup there, over."

"Copy 69, out."

I cut in;

"Ah Red Knight, this is Ashcan five-zero Juliet, ah where do you see bad guys, over?"

"Ashcan, uh, hah - they are everywhere, but they are headed towards LZ Pro by the thousands and it looks like it is going to be a busy night for the boys in Pro, over."

"Got it six-nine, can you give me a count of how many on the ground, over?"

"Uh, Ashcan, I have seen at least two thousand. They are walking in the open, back a little ways we saw another couple of thousand. They usually hide when we come around, but they are waving at us this morning, one of them actually flipped us the bird. Ah, overall I would guestimate six or seven thousand down there, over."

I was stunned. Brian and I looked at each other. The CO shook his head. My skin crawled from the thought of us, a hundred and ten Americans, sitting out in the open with six or seven thousand NVA all around us.

Six nine brought me back to; "Copy Ashcan?"

"Ah, roger six-niner, that's a lot, over.

"Roger Ashcan, if I were you guys I would find a hole and hide in it. Copy?"

"Rog six-niner. Thanks for the data. Over."

"Good luck men and God Bless, out."

I wished I was on that chopper, at two thousand feet, away from harm.

Captain Dunagan was studying maps and working it out. I know he was up for whatever the day had in store for us. I know what he was thinking; we have to make it to the LZ Pro, no matter what. The LZ was our island, where we could make a stand. Out here in the open, we were alone. Sanctity was on the Hill.

Dunagan looked at me and Brian and spoke evenly;

"I know this looks bad guys, but we are going to make it to the Hill. I need you guys to perform like never before. Speak clearly and give succinct, orders and get them carried out no matter what. We need the rest of the men in the Company performing flawlessly and it is up to you to get them to do that.

Rog?"

Both of us: "Rog Sir."

"Alright." He pointed at the map.

"We're going to cross the valley to the north and move through the wood line at the base of the mountains and work our way to the Hill. We want to avoid contact. It seems the NVA are moving down the Burlington trail on the south side of the valley. So we'll go on the north side. The going will be a lot tougher but we need to avoid contact. We will not be able to avoid contact, but it will be less over there. Now, the NVA have radios and if we get into contact they will surround us and that will be the end. The secret is to avoid contact and if we cannot, we fight only long enough to get the upper hand and then break off and move fast to the east, towards the Hill. Copy?"

We both nodded.

"Good, we'll stay in single-file and move across the valley one at a time, but we move fast. Tom get them going, Brian, find out about air support. Let's do it."

I called the first platoon leader and had him move his men across after we went. I told all the platoon leaders that there were "boo-coo NVA" in the open and avoid contact. Dunagan moved ahead cautiously but as fast as he could. We were all alert.

About an hour later we came across a knoll and we crept up it. We saw around twenty-five NVA, all together, talking with their weapons slung over their shoulders. We might get by them, but if we do not, they will get in between us and carve us up. The only option was to cut them up now.

Dunagan had me bring up Kirby with his machine gunner and the rest of us got ready with our '16's. We rose up the knoll and opened up on them.

As I was shooting I saw the rounds plucking at them and they were trying to get away from the swarm of bullets chopping them up and were running into each other. We dropped them all, and then we took off running back to the east. Well, now they knew we were here in the valley…

Tom is just as happy as he could use the cash. I would guess most of you would like to have extra money for putting your life on the line and wasting two years of YOUR life.

He has taken a considerable amount of time to put all of the details into crisp clarity.
